What happened to Best Western
We chose Best Western in a good location of Long Island .The room smelled the minute we walked in of mold, masked by an overwhelming amount of commercial air freshner.
There were no drawers for clothes. The clothes closet? had no doors. The bathroom was the size of a small closet, with caulking that was falling off the wall and moldy tile.
We were planning to stay six nights, checked out after one. Could not take a shower there.
The parking lot was noisy and obviously used by nonguests. We used to rely on the name Best Western -- no more!
